A flute from India formed out of a single piece of reed. According to tradition, the reed flute only has six holes and is thus played in the same way as the tin-whistle.
A good alternative to the tin-whistle with a warmer and mellower sound.
The large flutes with a low tone are a particularly good alternative to the low-whistle. The reed flute is available both in a recorder style and as a travers flute.

low notes in La, Sol#, Sol (43 cm), Fa und Mi (54 cm).
The large flutes tuning sol and deeper are a little bit difficult in fingering, exspecially for small hands. So this flute with special price are not for children.
This simple flutes are tuned clean themeselves, but the base-note can differnet upto a quarter note.
